Minister of State, Office of the Prime Minister, Labour, Youth, Employment and Disabled Hon. Prof. Joyce Ndalichako has praised the fertilizer factory of ITRACOM Fertilizer Limited for complying with labor laws, including giving contracts to workers, Safety and health at the workplace and submitting workers’ contributions to Social Security funds on time.
Prof. Ndalichako has said this on September 18, 2023 when he visited the factory in Dodoma with the aim of inspecting the implementation of labor laws, where he has asked the employers in the country to follow the example of ITRACOM.
Minister Ndalichako has thanked Hon. President Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan by continuing to create an enabling environment for investors in the country, the investment of the fertilizer factory has generated 1,198 initial jobs and when it is completed, 3500 direct jobs will be generated and 8000 indirect jobs will be generated.
And, the Dodoma District Commissioner Hon. Jabir Shekimweri has promised to continue strengthening the enabling environment for investors so that the investment of the factory can be completed on time and be productive for the people.
The Director of Internal Coordination of the factory, Kimaramuziro Nkurikiye has thanked the Sixth Phase government led by Hon. President Samia for continuing to cooperate in the construction of the factory and solving the challenges they were facing including water, electricity, and roads.
In addition, during the visit, Minister Ndalichako was accompanied by the Dodoma District Commissioner Hon. Jabir Shekimweri along with his leaders and executives and Institutions under the Office of the Prime Minister.
